About

Latte Da Cafe is a family-run coffee shop and sandwich spot in Lee Vining, the small town at Yosemite's eastern edge near Tioga Pass and Mono Lake. Reviewers describe staying for hours rather than minutes — one traveler waited more than four hours for a Mammoth-bound bus without ever feeling rushed, and that same unhurried, welcoming pace comes up again and again in the feedback.

What to order

The menu runs on hand-prepared sandwiches served on soft focaccia, made-to-order breakfast sandwiches, espresso drinks, and smoothies. Reviewers single out the Sage Grouse sandwich and the "turkey vulture," plus fresh-baked muffins described as some of the best they've had. Several reviews note the kitchen is run directly by the owner's mother, and the shop is women-owned and family-operated.

Garden seating, front and back

Latte Da Cafe has outdoor seating in both a front and back yard, landscaped with a garden reviewers call lush and clearly cared for. It's an easy place to sit outside with a coffee and slow down before or after time in the park.

Latte Da Cafe holds a 4.8-star rating across 363 reviews and is open daily from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Reach the cafe at (760) 647-6310.

Had great service and chill vibes. It was very laid back. Only ordered cold brew without ice. The server asked if I wanted a bottle instead. They had a bottled version without ice. Tasted so good. Food looked good, but wasn’t hungry
