About

Little Shop of Ramen sits in downtown Mariposa and has built a strong local following — a 4.3-star average across nearly 500 reviews, with visitors regularly saying they didn't expect ramen this good in a small town. The broth and noodles are made from scratch, and it's become a regular stop for travelers heading to or from Yosemite on Highway 140.

What to Order

  • One reviewer calls out the miso ramen made medium spicy — real heat without overwhelming the broth, and homemade noodles with the texture to match.
  • Add an extra egg or bamboo shoots for $1 each, which is why you'll see plenty of eggs in other diners' photos.
  • Multiple reviewers describe the broth and noodles as clearly homemade, not shortcuts from a bag.

We did not like this ramen! It tastes fine but it is not ramen. The noodles were like undercooked spaghetti noodles, not ramen noodles at all. The broth was fine but i’ve had way better. Then the waitress was not friendly, but maybe she had a bad day, it definitely seemed like it. The other waiter was very friendly though. I would not recommend going here

Amazing service, amazing ramen. Hot and spicy, but not too spicy. Our waitress was amazing. Great atmosphere. You would never expect this kind of an experience in such a small town!
