About

Miner's Roadhouse 140 sits in Mariposa on Highway 140, the route most Yosemite Valley visitors drive coming from the west, and it's built for exactly that kind of stop — a big, casual roadhouse with indoor and patio seating, a salad bar, and a menu that leans hard into hearty American comfort food. The 4-star rating across 739 reviews tells you what regulars already know: come hungry.

What to order

Breakfast is the strong suit — reviewers single out the biscuits and gravy, French toast, and breakfast burritos. One reviewer also mentioned a breakfast buffet bar they believed ran on Sundays only, so it's worth asking about if that's what brings you in, but treat it as a tip rather than a guarantee. For lunch and dinner, the meatloaf draws real praise, and the fries — garlic, regular, or sweet potato — are a consistent favorite. There's also a sports bar section for anyone wanting a casual drink with a game on.

Like the food and the servers were nice. However it was cold enough to hang meat. I asked the server if they could set the AC to normal and she responded that it was for the kitchen. Wrong answer. Your customers comfort should come first. There were people wearing coats and one lady was wrapped in a blanket. If your customers aren't comfortable they aren't coming back.

Absolutely incredible experience! The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch. I ordered the meatloaf and it was phenomenal—easily some of the best I have ever had. Super flavorful, perfectly cooked, and total comfort food perfection. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

I hate to say this because it sounds bad but its an honest review. The majority of food I've had over the years has always been just adequate, except for the Asian inspired Wonton Nachos, which have become my go to. The interior has been redone in last couple years but by design, it still just feels 'old' to me. Now what I can say is there are some great servers there and from what I've seen, the bar gets hopping at night! Our gal that served us Friday was in her 30's (?) w/ponytail and was an AWESOME waitress. My chicken wonton nachos were bomb💣🤩
