Farm-fresh hard cider, orchard walks, and a petting zoo near Yosemite
Sierra Cider is a working apple orchard and tasting room in Fish Camp, minutes from Yosemite's south entrance, pouring small-batch hard ciders made from fruit grown right on the property. Reviewers give it 4.8 stars across 94 reviews, calling out the tasting flights, the orchard rows you can actually walk through, and a small farm menagerie — including a mini pig — wandering the grounds between pours.
The tasting room offers flights built from the orchard's own apples — one visitor counted eight different ciders in a single flight. The orchard itself is open for walking, not just viewing from a patio, and reviewers note a rotating food vendor has served pizza on site on past visits, though food availability can vary. Sierra Cider also runs guided orchard tours, with reviewers describing a knowledgeable host walking small groups through the history of the apples, the cider-making process, and the flavor chemistry behind each variety.
Sierra Cider is open Friday through Sunday from noon to 8 PM, and closed Monday through Thursday.
Yes — reviewers describe guided orchard tours covering the history of the apples and the cider-making process, in addition to walking the orchard rows on your own.
Reviewers mention a food vendor serving pizza on site on past visits, though availability can vary by day — call ahead if a meal is part of your plan.
The property includes a small farm with animals guests can interact with, including a mini pig mentioned by multiple reviewers, making it a relaxed stop for families.

We had a wonderful time there. The owners are extremely friendly. Very child-friendly due to the many animals. Highly recommended!

I can’t get over how absolutely adorable this place is! They have the cutest little farm, with animals you can interact with, and apple orchards you can walk through. There’s lots of space to spread out and enjoy your cider and snack within their property. Plus, while we were there a delicious pizza vendor was available for us to order food (which we did!). The ciders were soooo good! Lots of different flavors, options to taste all of them, and enjoy by the glass.
