A waterfall and swimming pools where the river meets Bass Lake
Devil's Slide is a granite waterfall and chain of swimming pools where a mountain creek pours into Bass Lake, just outside Fish Camp. Visitors consistently single out the scenery here, and a 4.4-star rating across reviews points to a spot locals return to for the pools, the view, and the trailhead to Angel Falls, which starts right where the creek meets the lake.
This is not a pull-up-and-go stop. A county ordinance bans roadside parking for a mile in either direction of the falls. Reviewers describe about 10 parking spaces across from the site, with a nearby lot that has been under construction, so plan to park farther out and walk in. One visitor parked near Rd 222/227 and walked roughly 0.9 miles to reach a falls viewpoint. If you only want a quick look, turnouts on both sides of the road work for a short stop.

honestly didnt expect much but this place blew me away, everything was just so good, the vibes were perfect and the food came out fast. i can definately see why people keep coming back here, its so chill and relaxing with that lake view. im already thinkin about when i can come back, it was just a really nice surprise, probly my new favorite spot around bass lake.

It's a moderate hike, hard in the beginning. Keep in mind that people die by being stupid around the slippery rocks. It's called devil slide for a reason and angel falls is no joke at the bottom either. Beautiful water pools just need to pick right ones!! Not really swimming up at Devils falls so if with kids stick to lower portion!
