The 18-hole championship golf course, designed by William F. Bell, is open to public play year-round and has earned a 4.5-star rating from Golf Digest. At 6,382 yards, par 70, it's a legitimate test even for a mountain course. The equestrian center and stables also welcome non-residents, and there's a restaurant and lounge on-site if you just want a meal.
Camping Near the Lake
The public campground sits about 2.5 miles from the lake and offers 44 standard campsites and 11 RV sites with power and water hookups. Restrooms include hot showers, and the grounds have horseshoe pits, a volleyball court, and short hiking trails. Book ahead — sites fill fast in summer given the short drive to Yosemite.
