⭐⭐⭐☆☆ I expected more from the Yosemite Valley Welcome Center, especially considering you’re visiting one of the world’s most iconic national parks. While it serves its basic purpose, it feels like a missed opportunity. For a place with such an incredible history, I was surprised by the lack of exhibits and storytelling. I would have loved to see more about the history of Yosemite, the people who helped preserve it, the wildlife, and what makes this park so special. It just didn’t feel as informative or engaging as I expected. The highlight was definitely the food shop in the back. It had a surprisingly good selection, the prices were reasonable for a national park, and it was nice that they even sold alcoholic beverages. It was a convenient place to grab snacks and drinks before heading back out. Overall, the Welcome Center is worth a quick stop, but it has so much potential to better showcase the history and significance of Yosemite.

The valley itself is incredibly beautiful. However, it gets very crowded on weekends. You have to go very early.

It is better to come on weekdays and not on weekends. Come with a car if possible. For families traveling together with caravans, it is better to come in one caravan together very early in the morning to get a parking spot. The place fills up very quickly. The entrance and parking are closed, do not move the caravan and take their free shuttle.. A great place not to be afraid to also stop for a moment to lie down in some beautiful spot..
