Daff Dome is an 800-foot granite dome just off Tioga Road, about three miles west of Tuolumne Meadows. It isn't a scenic loop for casual walkers — it's one of Yosemite's classic backcountry climbing crags, and the name is 1960s climber shorthand for "Dome Across From Fairview" (Dome), a nod to nearby Fairview Dome across the valley.
