Gino Trail

Gino Trail is a singletrack segment in the backcountry mountain-biking network that spreads across the Sierra National Forest just outside Fish Camp, feeding into the wider trail system riders use to link up with the Bass Lake and Oakhurst riding area to the south. It's built for two wheels, not boots — there's no maintained tread, signage, or trailhead the way you'd find inside Yosemite itself.

What to Expect

Trailforks lists Gino's as an older route that was reopened to riders in 2017, which tells you two things: it predates a lot of the newer flow trails in the area, and it had fallen out of regular use before local riders brought it back into rotation. Expect natural, unmarked forest singletrack rather than a manicured bike-park experience — the kind of riding where a GPS trail app matters more than a paper map.

Getting There and Riding Smart

• Located on Sierra National Forest terrain near Fish Camp, not within Yosemite National Park's boundaries.
• Best approached with a current Trailforks or MTB Project download loaded on your phone or GPS unit — this isn't a signed park trail.
• Suited to riders comfortable with backcountry conditions: variable trail surface, deadfall, and stretches with no cell service.
