Great spot right in downtown Mariposa. Room was clean, quiet, and cool during a 90F day. Staff was super nice during check in.

This was pricey for what it was. Dead bugs in the corners, extremely basic beds/bedding, mini fridge won’t close/seal all the way, tv remote hidden deep inside the couch. Felt like we were sleeping in a warehouse basement. Lots of noise upstairs and outside. We love Mariposa the town, and we’ve had more pleasant stays across/down the street. I mean, if it was half the price, we’d go for it… like it was fine, we were safe and sheltered. But we paid way too much for a place that offers less than some campsites.

It's basically a sleeping area, more suitable for backpackers since it's one of the cheaper spots nearby. The toilet is extremely small, and the shampoo and other toiletries provided are practically impossible to open without a knife. The website mentions check-in times, but it's actually completely self-service; you won't see anyone.

Great location, about an hour to Yosemite, and for the price, a great hotel for one or two nights. It restores my faith in the American hotel industry.
