someone knocked on the door at 2am, absolutely terrifying sterling suite with loft was comfortable with modern ac unit, tower fan, decent bedding. kids enjoyed the dvds

We stayed 4 nights at Sierra Mountain Lodge while visiting Yosemite. The place is very quiet & it was so nice to have our own private deck with a great view of the Sierra Nevada mountains. The kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable, and the loft was SPACIOUS! The only con was the shower could have definitely been cleaner - lots of soap scum on door and entire shower. It is quite a drive into the south entrance of Yosemite, but the trade off is getting to stay in a peaceful area away from the crowds.
