As soon as I entered, there was a damp smell. There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom, yet it rattles incessantly when the light is turned on. It was so noisy that I couldn't even turn on the light and had to leave the door open. The sink drain lacked a stopper, so it was practically impossible to find anything that fell in; I have never experienced a breakfast this bad. I ate two slices of bread without even the usual scrambled eggs and couldn't eat any more. No matter how close it is to Yosemite, I will never stay at this accommodation again.

Für 2 Sterne Hotel in USA ist es TOP und so bewerte ich auch. Da habe ich schlechtere 3 Sterne Hotels kennengelernt. Der Preis passt, Frühstück stillt den Hunger und wird früh serviert. Parkplatz ist mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Zum Kerngebiet Yosemite NP ist es ca. 1h. Nimmt keine teueren Badesachen in den Whirlpool... Chlohgehalt bleicht es aus... selten gesehen...

Alles in allem gut. Die Zimmer sind groß, das Frühstück für amerikanische Verhältnisse auch gut. Man gibt sich Mühe, an einigen Stellen wirkt es aber ein wenig einfach. Die Lage zum Yosemite NP ist in der Hauptsaison sehr gut im Preis- Leistungsvergleich (allerdings sind die Preise in der Gegend der Qualität insgesamt nicht angemessen, dies ist in Parknähe aber ein grundsätzliches Ding). Check in schnell und problemlos. Das Areal umfasst mehrere Häuser, entweder im Hotel- oder Motelstil. Personal nett und bemüht. Infrastruktur in der Umgebung auch gut (Pioneer Supermarkt, Restaurants, Tankstellen etc. Alles in einem Radius von 500 Metern vorhanden. In der heißen Jahreszeit ist der Pool eine schöne Sache. Handtücher liegen dort separat bereit.

Very warm and helpful staff. But we did have a problem - no warm/ hot water in the shower for the first night. Of course they did resolve it on the next day of our 2 night stay. Breakfast is reasonably good....but vegetarians as usual have a challenge finding something they can eat.......there is bread, butter, jam/ jelly, cereal and oats. For eggitarians, they do have muffins.
