About

Yosemite Ridge sits in Groveland, close to Yosemite's Big Oak Flat entrance, with a mix of rustic cabins, cottages, and RV and camping sites. The property also lists an on-site restaurant, general store, and outdoor pool, positioning it as a full-service base camp for a park visit rather than just a place to park an RV overnight.

What You Get

The lineup includes cabins and cottages alongside RV and camping sites with full hookups, plus a restaurant, general store, and outdoor pool on the grounds. Office and check-in hours are listed as 11 AM to 7 PM daily.

Worth Knowing Before You Book

Yosemite Ridge carries a 3.2-star rating across 122 reviews, and the feedback is genuinely split. Some guests report friendly check-in, hot showers, working wifi, and a cozy cabin after a long day in the park. Others describe rundown restrooms, an overgrown campground, and amenities like the general store or pool not operating as advertised. Given how mixed the reviews run, it's worth calling (209) 888-0248 to confirm current conditions and which amenities are actually open before you book, particularly for a longer stay.

The whole place felt rundown, the toilets and showers were dirty and obviously hadn't been cleaned in a while. Showers weren't draining and no privacy. Check in was fine. It has potential but unfortunately just not worth paying $80. For this I'd expect a basic level of cleanliness.

I wish I'd read the Google reviews instead of just the ones on my camping app. Absolutely overpriced dump. Everything was filthy and run-down. And don't even get me started on the shady characters hanging around there. We wasted our $80 and left as quickly as possible. Truly creepy.

Broken down campground. Sites are ok, worth maybe half what they charge. The campground had a number of buildings that were broken down, falling in, looking like a disaster area. Really sad. Not a functional campground and not worth the price, but at least it's close to Yosemite...

This place is very depressing due to the falling down buildings, mini-homes, no effort to repair or replace anything on the property. The park is close to Yosemite that was why we rented a campsite. The manager was pleasant. 👎

Worst customer service of any RV park I've ever stayed at.
